Terms and Conditions
General Terms
By registering for or purchasing any course, program, or service offered by Royse and Associates, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Sales and Payments
All sales are final. No refunds, credits, or price adjustments will be issued once a purchase is completed. Prices, course availability, and offerings are subject to change without notice.
Course Transfers
A one-time course transfer may be approved within six (6) months of the original purchase date and is subject to a $50 processing fee. Transfers are not guaranteed and must be requested in writing at randa@alaskatraining.com. No refunds or credits will be issued for differences in course pricing.
Course Access and Use
Course access is granted for individual use only. Course materials may not be shared, reproduced, resold, distributed, repurposed, or used for any commercial or instructional purpose. Unauthorized use may result in termination of access without refund.
Compliance Responsibility
Students are solely responsible for completing courses in accordance with applicable Alaska Real Estate Commission (AREC) regulations, including daily credit limits, evaluation requirements, quiz completion, and certificate retention. Royse and Associates does not submit forms, applications, or certificates on behalf of students.
For purposes of regulatory compliance, all references to a “calendar day” are measured using Alaska Time (GMT-9, or GMT-8 during Daylight Saving Time), regardless of the student’s physical location.
Completion of any course offered by Royse and Associates constitutes education only and does not, by itself, renew, activate, reinstate, upgrade, or otherwise affect a real estate license. Licensing outcomes require separate action and approval by the Alaska Real Estate Commission.
Course access controls, system features, or scheduling tools are provided as an aid only and do not override or modify applicable licensing requirements. Students remain solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory limits, including daily credit-hour restrictions.
Certificates of Completion
Certificates are issued only after all required evaluations and quizzes are successfully completed. Students are responsible for downloading and retaining certificates for audit or licensing requirement purposes.
Communications
Purchase constitutes consent to receive transactional emails, course notifications, newsletters, and marketing communications, including contact by email, phone, or text message, using automated or manual systems. Consent is not required to purchase. You may unsubscribe or opt out of marketing communications at any time. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
Technical Access
Students are responsible for maintaining internet access, compatible devices, and account credentials. Royse and Associates is not responsible for delays caused by technical issues outside its control.
Limitation of Liability
Royse and Associates is not responsible for license status, outcomes, late submissions, regulatory penalties, or delays caused by incomplete coursework, failure to follow instructions, or non-compliance with AREC requirements.
Modifications
Royse and Associates reserves the right to modify course content, structure, pricing, schedule, and these Terms and Conditions at any time to maintain regulatory compliance or improve instructional quality.
Regulatory Compliance and Audit Responsibility
Royse and Associates is an approved education provider and does not act on behalf of the Alaska Real Estate Commission (AREC). Completion of any course does not guarantee licensing or acceptance of credit by the AREC.
The licensee is solely responsible for:
- Completing courses in compliance with AREC regulations, including daily credit-hour limits
- Completing all required evaluations and quizzes
- Accurately reporting course completion on applications
- Retaining certificates of completion for audit purposes
- Ensuring all information submitted to the AREC is true, correct, and complete
Royse and Associates does not submit certificates, applications, or affidavits to the AREC on behalf of licensees.
All Continuing Education hours are subject to AREC audit. Credits completed in violation of AREC regulations may be rejected by the Commission, which may result in delayed renewal, lapsed license status, or reinstatement fees. Royse and Associates assumes no responsibility for regulatory outcomes resulting from non-compliance.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska.
